Model Icons has released a 1:18 diecast model of the #1 Jaguar Mk.II which Bob Jane drove in the 1962 Australian Touring Car Championship. The Mk.II was an extremely successful touring car, winning titles all over the world. Bob Jane took the car to victory in the Australian Touring Car Championship in both 1962 and 1963. The championship only consisted of one race, which in 1962 was held at the Longford circuit in Tasmania. Jane, whose car remained largely unmodified, raced away from Bill Pitt’s Jag Mk.I to take the victory.
