Product description

Armored semi-tracked transporter Sd. car 251, also known as Hakl, was produced in various versions in thousands of series from 1939 until the defeat of Germany. Despite some shortcomings, it served the German infantry on all its battlefields and allowed it to keep up with tank units. After the end of the Second World War, hundreds of loot transporters were included in the armament of the Czechoslovak army. In Czechoslovakia, a new armored personnel carrier was developed in 1954 with the designation Tatra 810, later known as OT-810. In the years 1959-1963, its development took place in Slovakia at the Podpolianské strojárny in Detva. The book in Czech and English describes in six chapters the history of the establishment of Sd. car 251, its further development, production and use. The publication lists all production versions, including their armament. The book also includes a description of post-war Czechoslovak mutations. The publication is equipped with about 200 photographs of vehicles and period documents.
