The author of the book is a former military pilot. For many years he served to protect the airspace of the Slovak Republic in the NATINAMDS system. In addition to flying, his great passion is photography, so during his career he created and collected many authentic and unique photographs from the life of the Slovak Air Force. He presents these images to the reader in a unique publication. Almost 600 photographs are supplemented by accompanying text, which is based mainly on the author's personal experience. In creating the book, he relied only on his subjective point of view and personal experience of service in the military aviation of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. He processed only some aviation experiences and events, for which he had photographic and factual material, nevertheless the book offers a varied view of the work of a military fighter pilot in the years 1993 - 2016. -29.
