The Praga RN DVS 8 was a multifunctional firefighting tanker
built on the proven chassis of the Praga RN. The vehicle was
powered by a four-cylinder inline petrol engine producing
35 kW (48 hp) and featured a 4-speed manual gearbox.
Its top speed reached approximately 70 km/h, and the
chassis load capacity allowed the transport of a firefighting
crew along with all necessary equipment, including the portable
PS 8 pump. The body was purpose-built, painted in the typical
firetruck red, and equipped with exterior fittings such as hose
holders, toolboxes, and steps for quick crew access. The vehicle
was used in both urban and rural fire departments, where it proved
reliable and easy to maintain.
