STS MV2 - 028 blue

Product description

Limited edition of 150 pieces of the MV 2-028 tractor trailer from Strojová a traktorová stanica Humenné in blue color. The 1:32 scale model is produced by AutoCult and features rolling wheels with the ability to be coupled behind 1:32 scale tractors. The trailer tilts to one side with a fold-down side panel. The model is packaged in a styrofoam insert inside a cardboard box. A booklet with details about the real machine is included, along with an authentic replica of the original metal manufacturer's plate.

The MV 2-028 tractor trailer was produced between 1977 and 1991 by the state enterprise STS Humenné. It was developed in response to the needs of farmers in mountainous and hilly regions, proving its worth through high durability and maneuverability.

The construction consisted of a sturdy steel frame with wooden side panels made from softwood, allowing easy maintenance and repairs directly in the field. Efficient unloading of grain or silage was ensured by a two-way hydraulic tipping system (left and right) powered by two telescopic cylinders. The trailer was primarily hitched behind ZETOR tractors and, thanks to socialist-era cooperation, shared many chassis components with the Czech BSS P53S model. Thanks to its simple design, you can still find it working on farms today.
