Interesting:

In 1967, waiting for the arrival of a new generation of cars, Alfa Romeo decided to add a larger and more powerful sedan to the Giulia. The well-known 4-cylinder twin-shaft engine was enlarged to 1779 cm3, while retaining the head from 1600. 118 horsepower was obtained at 5500 rpm. Despite having a displacement of almost 1800, the car was christened in 1750, which is a reference to the historic 6C 1750 from the 1930s. The 1750 also had a sporting career: performance at the 24-hour Spa in 1968 was remarkable with four cars finishing in the top four in its category. In 1970, an update of the 1750 model with several mechanical modifications and several aesthetic elements was presented at the Turin Motor Show. Production of the 1750 was discontinued in 1972, selling 100,120 in the standard configuration and the 1760 in the US market
