Product description

High-quality metal model of the BMW M3 rally drift racing car of the advan team from 1990. The model has an opening door and is on a stand in a box.

The BMW E30 is the second generation of mid-range cars of the 3 series, which was produced between 1982 and 1994 by the German car company BMW. It was produced with rear-wheel drive. The top version of the BMW M3 was also introduced for the first time with the E30 generation.

The E30 generation was introduced in 1982 and was replaced by the E36 generation in 1990. But BMW continued to produce the convertible until 1993 and the station wagon version until 1994.

It was manufactured by BMW M GmbH. This version was originally designed for circuit racing. The regulations of the time required homologation based on the 5,000 series. The M3 version can be recognized by its higher trunk lid, different rear window angle, widened fenders and spoilers, but it shared several parts with the other E30 models.[2] It was originally produced from a coupe version, and a cabriolet was added towards the end. The interior featured sports seats and a steering wheel adorned with the M Division logo. Brakes came from the 5 Series. The Getrag 265 5-speed manual transmission had the first gear to the left. Later, improved versions of the M3 Evolution I, Evolution II and Sports Evolution, Europa Meister and Johnny Ceccoto/Ravaglia special edition appeared.
