Product description
A detailed collector's model of the iconic 1977 BMW 6 Series (E24) in an elegant light green color from the manufacturer IXO. The BMW E24 was introduced in March 1976 and was available in two models at launch: the 630 CS and the 633 CSi. The body was designed by ex-Mercedes designer Paul Bracq, with the characteristic feature being the so-called "shark nose" — a radiator grille with four round headlights and a subtle BMW kidney in the center.
Originally, the E24 was completely assembled at the Karmann coachbuilder; from August 1977, due to fluctuating quality, only the bodyshells were produced there, and the final assembly took place at the BMW plant in Dingolfing. The light green color is one of the period shades typical of the 1970s and makes this model particularly attractive to collectors.
The model is delivered in the original factory box with a transparent window with a printed base and colorful IXO packaging.
