The Boeing 737 is an American narrow-body airliner manufactured by Boeing at its factory in Renton, Washington. It was originally developed as a smaller twin-engine aircraft with lower operating costs derived from the Boeing 707 and Boeing 727. Eventually, the Boeing 737 aircraft developed into a family of 10 passenger models with a capacity of 85 to 220 passengers. The 737 is Boeing's only narrow-body airliner, currently produced by the company in the -600, -700, -800, -900 and 737 MAX 7, 8, 9 variants. The upgraded version with new Boeing 737 MAX engines entered the aviation market in 2017.
