The Boeing 747-400 is a large, wide-body, long-range airliner manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
The 747-400BDSF (BeDek Special Freighter) is another passenger aircraft to freighter conversion performed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). The first 747-400BDSF was re-delivered to Air China Cargo in August 2006. A number of EVA Air's Boeing 747-400Ms were converted to the BDSF model following the end of passenger service. Neither the 747-400BCF nor the 747-400BDSF have forward cargo doors; cargo can only be loaded through the side cargo door.
