The Cargolux story began in 1970 with the first flight of a Canadair CL-44 from Stockholm to New York to collect a load of strawberries and iceberg lettuce. Today the Luxembourg airline fleet consists of no fewer than 28 Boeing 747 freighters. Cargolux is now celebrating its fiftieth anniversary on this 747-8 with special lettering.
