The Boeing 757 is a medium-range aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It was developed together with the Boeing 767 model as its close sibling. The cabin of the 757 and 767 models is very similar, and therefore pilots licensed to fly the Boeing 767 can also fly the Boeing 757 model without retraining. This aircraft was designed mainly for the needs of Eastern Air Lines and British Airways. The first plane started flying in 1983 and the last one was produced in 2004. There are only 1050 of them in the world.
The Boeing 757-200 is the final version of the Boeing 757. It was also produced in the 757-200F as a freighter version and the 757-200M as a combined version. The Boeing 757 was also offered as 757-200ER, 757-200PF, 757-200SF.
