A quality metal model of the Cat D8T bulldozer produced in a limited edition by Brent Scarbrough. The model features movable crawler tracks. The model is packaged in a high-quality metal box.
The Cat D8T is a medium-sized tracked bulldozer with an operating weight of approximately 41 tons. It is powered by a Cat C15 diesel engine with a net power of approximately 298 kW (400 hp) and meets modern emission standards. The bulldozer is equipped with a fully automatic 4-speed transmission with a lock-up clutch for efficient power transfer.
The D8T is equipped with a semi-U-shaped blade with a volume of approximately 10.7 cubic meters. Depending on the model, different track widths are available, which affect the pressure on the ground. The machine is robustly constructed and designed for heavy earthmoving work.
The cab is ergonomically designed and offers comfort features such as air conditioning, an air-suspended seat, modern controls and excellent all-round visibility. Advanced assistance systems such as 2D and 3D grade control and automatic dozer functions support precise and efficient work.
