The Citroën Dyane is an economy family car produced by the French automaker Citroën between 1967 and 1983. The Dyane's design remained almost entirely based on the Citroën 2CV and its underpinnings, but at the same time received almost all new body panels, characterized by straighter, more angular overall features. As with the 2CV, the engine was air-cooled, with a hemispherical combustion chamber and flat-topped pistons. The Dyane was introduced to the domestic market in August 1967.
