Product description

The metal model of the Ford Capri MK II car is high-quality and detailed. The model is packed on a base.

The Ford Capri is a fast coupe produced by Ford of Europe, designed by Philip T. Clark, who also designed the Ford Mustang. It used mechanical components from the Mk2 Ford Cortina and was intended to be the European equivalent of the Ford Mustang. The Capri was very successful for Ford, selling almost 1.9 million units in its lifetime. The car used a wide range of engines throughout its production life, with the Essex and Cologne V6s at the top of the range, while Kent inline-fours and Taunus V4s were used in lower-spec models. Although the Capri was not officially replaced, the second generation Probe was actually its replacement after the car was later introduced to the European market in 1994.
