Lada VFTS is a rally car based on the Lada 2105. The abbreviation VFTS stood for "Vilniusskaja fabrika transportnych sredstv". The most famous version of the Lady 2105 was prepared as part of Group B homologation.
The VAZ 2105, currently sold only under the Lada brand (2105 or Nova), was created by modernizing the original 2101 model in terms of design and technology. The first serial specimens already existed at the end of 1979, the vehicle was put into production only a year later. They were produced until 2010.
