The high-quality metal model Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33), blue, 1997 Model R33, which was introduced for the 1994 model year (in some countries late 1993), was the eighth generation Nissan Skyline. The R33 Skyline was mechanically similar to the R32 Skyline, although the four-cylinder option was dropped. The R33 is slightly less appreciated among American collectors, as it is generally slightly larger and heavier than the previous R32, although with handling improvements it is usually faster than the previous car on most racetracks.
