The Opel Manta 400 #37 from the 1984 RAC Rally was built to Group B homologation standards and powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter Cosworth DOHC inline-four engine producing around 275 horsepower, delivered to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Its chassis featured a reinforced steel frame with independent suspension and adjustable Bilstein dampers, giving it excellent handling in the demanding conditions of the British rally. Driven by an experienced pilot with a typically aggressive style, this car remains a notable piece of rally history.
