With the 07 model, Oreca made another qualitative leap. Debuting in 2017, the car has established itself as the LMP2 benchmark, and by 2021 more than 70 units have been built for privateer teams around the world. The 07 competed in the WEC, ELMS, IMSA and the Asian LMS, taking overall victories as well. The 07 uses a 4200cc naturally aspirated V8 Gibson engine with Cosworth electronic control. The transmission is a transverse 6-speed X-Trac.
