AMMO Rail Center Matt Shader – Light Clay is a high-flow, translucent acrylic paint for realistic weathering and shading of railway models and scenery. Its ultra-fine pigments and thin consistency produce smooth, even transitions with no brush marks.
Ideal for shading engraved details and panel lines, adding dirt and grime, or enhancing surface depth. Apply it straight from the bottle with an airbrush or a fine brush – no thinning required. For softer effects, dilute with acrylic thinner or a transparent medium.
The paint blends easily, stays reworkable with water for several hours and fully cures within 24 hours. It behaves like a filter – subtly shifting the base colour and realistically simulating natural wear. Dries to a dead-matt finish. Clean up with water; non-toxic.
