The Saleen S7 is a hand-built high-performance American super sports car developed together with Steve Saleen on the conceptual and direction side, Hidden Creek Industries on the idea and core financial side, Phil Frank on the body, CAD interior design and development side , and RML Group on the engineering side. It was the only car produced by Saleen that was not based on an existing chassis. The S7 debuted on August 19, 2000 at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
