Product description
A finished collector’s model of the Škoda Octavia WRC. The model depicts the car—bearing start number 21—driven by Stig Blomqvist and co-driver Ana Goñi at the 2001 Rally Finland, a round of the World Rally Championship. For the 53-year-old 1984 World Champion, this was a one-off appearance for the Škoda Motorsport factory team, alongside regular drivers Armin Schwarz and Bruno Thiry. Blomqvist shared a rich history with Škoda: in 1996, he finished third at the RAC Rally in a Felicia Kit Car—a result considered one of the biggest surprises in 1990s rallying. At the 2001 Rally Finland, he finished in 22nd place.
The model features a white paint scheme with green and red accents. This livery belonged to Blomqvist’s personal sponsors, rather than the standard Škoda factory colors. The model includes sponsor decals, start numbers, roof-mounted antennas, and mud flaps. It comes in a clear PVC display case, attached to a base.
