As a representative of the short- and medium-haul fleet, this A320neo received a special paint job to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the original Lufthansa in 1926. In January, the eight-year-old Airbus was repainted in the anniversary design in Norwich, England, a process that took approximately eleven days. This A320neo completes the anniversary series that Herpa will be launching in full later this year. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350-900 have already been announced, and will be available in three versions, like this A320: as a 1/500 scale metal model, as part of the Herpa SnapFit series, and as a highly detailed 1/200 scale collector's model.
