The Airbus A380 is one of the largest and most iconic airliners in the world. The aircraft with the registration D-AIMH received an exceptional dark blue anniversary livery on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Lufthansa. The dominant feature of the design is the huge 47-meter Lufthansa crane logo, which gives the aircraft a unique appearance in XXL design. The painting took place in the Irish city of Shannon for approximately 34 days and involved 35 workers who modified more than 4,000 m² of the aircraft's surface. The special edition "100 Jahre" symbolizes the long tradition, history and modern direction of one of the world's most prestigious air carriers.
