The Boeing 757 is a medium-range aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It was co-developed with the Boeing 767 as its closer sibling. The cockpit of the 757 and 767 is very similar, so pilots with a Boeing 767 rating can also fly the Boeing 757 without retraining. This aircraft was designed primarily for the needs of Eastern Air Lines and British Airways. The first aircraft began flying in 1983 and the last one was produced in 2004. In total, there are only 1,050 of them in the world.
