About the model
A diecast metal and plastic model of the Bristol Beaufighter VIF night fighter in the markings of No. 405 (Lynx) Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), England 1943. The Beaufighter VIF was equipped with airborne radar and served primarily as a night interceptor against enemy bombers — the Canadian 405 Squadron operated it in defence of British airspace. The aircraft was manufactured by the Bristol Aeroplane Company.
Construction & details
Produced by Hobbymaster in 1:72 scale with realistic panel lines, antennas and access panels. Markings are pad printed and will not fade or peel. The model is delivered fully assembled with a display stand, crew figures and movable propellers. The landing gear can be displayed in either the up or down position.
