The Fiat 600 made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring of 1955 and is still considered to be one of the most sensational postwar small cars. This good-looking rear-engined little car had a frameless body, front leaf springs and rear coil springs. Fiat followed it by the Fiat 600 D in the late summer of 1960. The water-cooled 4-cylinder rear engine was increased from 633 to 767 ccm raising its capacity to 25 hp and giving this popular little car a top speed of 110 km/h.
