The Ilyushin Il-18 was a four-engine turboprop airliner and one of the most successful civil aircraft produced in the USSR. It was known for its reliability, long range, and capacity of over 100 passengers. During the 1960s to 1980s, it was a key part of Interflug’s fleet, flying medium and long-haul routes across Europe and Asia.
