Product description
High-quality die-cast aircraft model of the MQ-9 Reaper in the special NASA variant named "Ikhana", a word from the Choctaw Native American language meaning "intelligent, conscious, aware". The MQ-9 is a remotely piloted unmanned aerial vehicle flown by a two-person crew from a ground station. Powered by a 900-horsepower turboprop engine, it reaches a top speed of 480 km/h and has a range of up to 1,900 km thanks to 1,800 kg of fuel capacity. NASA has operated "Ikhana" since 2006 for research, advanced systems testing, data collection, and real-world missions such as wildfire monitoring and firefighting support across California. This 1:72 scale model can be displayed with either extended or retracted landing gear. The model comes packaged in a cardboard box and blister, including a stand.
