Quality metal model from SSM based on the real Praga V3S AV-3 tow truck. The Praga V3S AV-3 tow truck is an iconic vehicle that was used to tow cars and trucks in Czechoslovakia. The model is a faithful replica of a real tow truck that was produced in the 70s and 80s of the last century. The model is packed in a PVC box.
This model is also interesting in that its design was inspired by the movie "The village has a center", which also included Prague V3S.
The Praga V3S AV-3 tow truck was produced in many different variants, and each of them was intended for different purposes. However, this model shows the version from 1984, where the most significant difference is the angular headlights and a more modern front end. The Praga V3S AV-3 model was one of the most successful cars of its time and is considered a cult symbol of Czechoslovak motoring.
